academia?
At Athena Academia, we create an environment where learning is an inspiration, not an obligation. Our goal is not just to improve grades but to teach students to think critically, adapt, and become independent.

Every student we work with achieves academic growth.
If you’re struggling with low grades or keeping up in class, we guarantee that you will improve. If you’re a high achiever striving for excellence — whether preparing for an Olympiad or pushing your limits— we have expert mentors to guide you.
Mentorship not just teaching — our tutors help students learn effectively by equipping them with the skills to become independent, confident learners.
Led by top-tier tutors from world-renowned institutions, IB examiners, and PhD scholars – We equip students to succeed at the universities that best match their goals — whether globally prestigious or close to home.
Education made personal – from tutor selection to methodology and learning tempo, everything is aligned with the student’s unique goals and temperament.
Our students are in international institutions around the globe, from home in Monaco to Switzerland. With our Global Ambassadors, you gain honest perspectives from learners already thriving with us.

At the heart of Athena Academia stands its founder, Tina Lyberaki — an educator, physicist, and mentor with over a decade of experience teaching ambitious students across Monaco, the French Riviera, Switzerland, and the UK.
Tina began her academic path at University College London (UCL), where she studied physics at one of the world’s top institutions.
But her most significant recognition came not from lecture halls, but from one-on-one mentorship — helping students unlock their academic potential and gain admission to the most selective universities.
Her teaching approach was shaped by the intersection of academic precision, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of how individuals learn. Tina looks beyond conventional methods, focusing instead on creating an intellectually rich, confidence-building experience tailored to each learner.
This philosophy became the foundation of Athena Academia — an institution designed to deliver high-level academic results through personalisation, strategic thinking, and human connection.
Tina remains actively involved as a tutor, empowering students’ minds and inspiring their futures.
We begin with a personal consultation to explore your request in depth – from academic goals to thinking style and preferred learning pace. Based on this, we select a tutor who not only teaches the subject but speaks your “language” – intellectually and personally. If needed, we offer alternative options until the fit feels right.
You pay for lessons at the end of each month, based on the number of sessions you booked. We understand that academic needs vary – some months may require more lessons, particularly around exams, while others may require fewer. Our format is fully flexible: if your needs change, we adjust your program accordingly. All billing is handled securely and transparently.
Yes – if you have someone in mind, we’ll check availability and compatibility. However, we recommend beginning with a consultation so we can suggest a tutor who best fits your goals, rhythm, and communication style. Our approach is always based on personal alignment, not just subject expertise.
Very soon – could even be the next day! After the initial consultation (which we usually schedule within a few days), we aim to begin lessons within 2-4 days – or faster, depending on the tutors’ availability. In urgent cases, we do our best to accommodate tighter timelines.
Absolutely. Many of our students stay with their tutors long after they’ve achieved their first milestone – shifting from exam prep to deeper learning, or from academic support to personal development. We build lasting relationships based on trust and relevance.
Yes. If you prefer to move faster – whether for an exam, relocation, or a professional goal – we create a custom plan with a higher frequency of lessons. Intensives are carefully designed to keep progress sustainable without overwhelming you.
